As they officially open their brand new shop in Newcastle’s Ridley Place, one Geordie Shore actress will be on hand to cut the ribbon as well as meet and greet their guest at their demonstration party.

Foxy Hair Extensions has grown rapidly since they first opened their doors at their Kingston Park outlet back in 2005.  Celebrating their 10th year in business and the opening of their third outlet, Foxy owners’ husband and wife team Simon and Hayley Fox are delighted with their progression.
Hayley told us: “We’ve gone from our one fitting shop in Kingston Park to three shops within the 10 years we’ve been open, a change that was forced on us as the MetroCentre branch and Kingston Park branches are struggling to cope with the demand for beautiful, luscious locks.
“It’s been a bit of a roller-coaster ride, as we only had three weeks to open the Ridley Place branch, however we were determined to make it, and with a lot of hard work and tenacity from the whole Foxy team, we pulled it off.  We’re just delighted that we can now officially open the new studio and over the moon that Geordie Shore’s Marnie will be there to greet her fans and our clients.”
Marnie will be invited to officially open the new Foxy venue in Ridley Place Newcastle on March 14 @ 12noon. There will be hair extension and make-up demonstrations, and Marnie herself will be getting the full Foxy experience by getting some hair extensions in herself to thicken her already long hair.  She will also be on hand for fans to get their picture taken with her and sign autographs.
Marnie tells us: “I can’t wait to be there on the day. I’m really looking forward to seeing all their guests and having my hair transformed. It’s going to be a great day.”
Foxy’s has seen the business’ profit rise by 15% year on year during their 10 years trading and now employs 12 staff between its three stores.
Foxy turned over £1.3m last year and they forecast this to increase to £1.5m this year. It is hoped that the expansion will safeguard the jobs available in the north east and allow the owners to grow and open stores in other regions in the future.
Hayley concluded: “We hope to welcome old and new clients to our new store; there will be some fantastic opening offers.  We hope you can join us in what is planned to be an opening bash to remember.”
