Why Pastels Are Here To Stay
Not so long ago, unnatural hair colours such as greens, blues and pinks were very much associated with certain fashions like punk for example. Nowadays, pastel pinks and lavenders have made their way into Vogue, Glamour and Marie Claire among others as the newest hair trend, and your will find no lack of celebrities sporting the dip-dye pastel look on the red carpet!
Unnatural hair has officially become the most natural hair trend of the year making all the salons jump right on the trend wagon inspiring their professional collections and clients.
We’re happy that these colours are now widely accepted because not only does it allow for every girl’s creativity to come out and manifest itself in the form of a loose braid or tousled waves, but also because it allows those with an edge to re-create the grunge style on a daily basis!
Baby pink. Teal Green. Lavender. These are just some of the colours everyone is trying! But pink is by far the most popular! Each colour will suit a particular natural shade of hair and skin tone. So before you commit to the trend, here’s what you need to know.
PINK: This shade works best on pale blondes, however, a warm skinned brunette could easily wear a deep pink, or a more redder shade.
BLUE: This suits olive skinned, dark haired girls best. Blondes attempting the blue shade should go for the palest blue available, or a more lavender shade.
GREEN: The toughest shade to pull off. Dark brunettes suit a rich shade of green, but fairer skinned brunettes, like blondes can easily make a pale green hue look great!
At Foxy, we offer great pastel and richer shades in our highest grade of hair; the Opulence range. So why not try this trend while it’s hot in the most easy and permanent way with our new nano-rings system, a virtually undetectable result!
