Why We’re Loving the Fishtail Plait
We are still head over heels with fishtail plaits! Regularly seen on celebs such as Cheryl Cole, Blake Lively, Binky Felstead, Rochelle Humes and many others, we can definitely understand why they are loved by the celebs and the fashion magazines!
They can be worn in so many different ways, as a high neat fishtail pony, as a low side semi-neat plait, or as a low messy plait that can be pulled and scrunched until you get the desired effect. We also find that doing a fishplait before going to sleep helps you create a naturally messy look!
We have decided to join in the fishtail crazy by adding a fishtail braid to our hair accessories collection! Our fishtail braid is made out of the highest synthetic material and is available in 9 natural shades to match your hair colour perfectly! Get yours now for just £24.95 here.
Here are our favourite ways of wearing the fishtail plait…
High and neat
1. Brush your hair to create the neat look. Secure hair in a tight bun at the very top of the head.
2. Place the opening of the braid on top of your bun and secure by clipping it on. Follow by taking the curly side piece and wrapping it around the velcro.

Low on the side
1. Brush your hair and hold it at the nape of the neck on either the left or right side of year head. Secure it into a small, tight bun with a hairband.

3. As this is not exactly a neat look, feel free to start pulling at the plait so that it doesn’t look so neat.

Low and messy
1. Don’t brush your hair this time. Secure the hair into a low tight bun at the nape of the neck.
2. Place the opening of the braid on top of your bun and secure by clipping it on. Follow by taking the curly side piece and wrapping it around the velcro.
3. Begin pulling strips of your own hair from the side and let them fall by the side of your face.
4. Gently pull the braid at the sides in order to mess it up and make it appear looser. Repeat until you get the desired effect!
